We are hiring a Founding Social Media & Content Lead. In the workspace and desk accessory market, aesthetic video curation is our main source of organic attention. You are the chief storyteller and voice of our brand across our public social channels.
Your job goes far beyond standard social media management—you own the visual aesthetic. You are responsible for curating "aesthetic setup" video edits, splicing raw customer desk clips, running our main accounts (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest), writing quiet, premium captions, and building a loyal audience that uses IAOMAI to escape physical workspace clutter.
The Co-Founders (CEO & Executive Director): To collaborate on high-level content strategy, align on platform tone, and get sign-off on big visual campaigns.
Brand Creative Lead: To coordinate on graphics, visual templates, and custom fonts to ensure our platforms look incredibly high-end.
Creator Network Lead (Clear Boundary): While they manage the direct communication and contracts with outside creators, you manage our internal platforms—repurposing clean video files into beautiful, high-performing shorts and posts on our official brand channels.
Account Stewardship & Curation: Fully manage our official social channels (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest). Keep our grid and feeds extremely clean, aesthetic, and professional.
Aesthetic Video Editing: Edit short-form "workspace aesthetic" videos, ASMR setup builds, and desk mat features. You are responsible for clean pacing, color-grading, crisp audio mixing, and elegant typography.
Interactive Engagement: Manage the comments and direct messages on our brand pages. Interact like an actual human being, engaging with setup enthusiasts and building our brand community.
Asset Organizing: Maintain an organized digital library of all content creators' clean footage, product B-roll, and high-res photography.
Aesthetic Eye: You understand the visual language of modern, clean, and minimalist workspaces. You know how to make a simple video look satisfying, premium, and highly professional.
Video Editor: You have solid video editing skills (using Premiere, CapCut, or DaVinci) and understand how sound design (like satisfying tactile clicks) drives ASMR workspace virality.
Self-Motivated: You work exceptionally well on your own. Your pay is contractually tied to the profit health of the store, meaning your drive to build a massive, engaged audience that converts into buyers dictates your personal upside.
Mission-Alignment: You possess a deep respect for the focus-driven mission of IAOMAI. You understand how clean environments lead to calm, high-performance mental states.
The Profit Share: This is a contractual independent contractor position. You receive a 10.0% cut of all Storewide Net Profit (translating to exactly $2.05 per unit sold on our core desk mats), distributed completely automatically on a per-transaction basis via CollabPay. As the social accounts you build draw eyes and convert viewers into customers, your monthly payout scales directly with the brand's success. This role carries no corporate equity; your upside is a direct reflection of execution.
